Have you booked your place for this year’s EuroRAP General Assembly?

The 15th General Assembly will take place in Barcelona from 7-9 June and will be hosted by our club member, the Royal Automobile Club of Catalonia.

This year’s get together promises to be one of the liveliest and most influential road safety events in Europe in 2017. You can view the full agenda here. The EuroRAP General Assembly is a great opportunity to find out about the latest developments in European road safety and to network with road safety professionals who are working to make Europe’s roads safer.

The Vision Zero Conference  will be held in Stockholm on 14-15 June 2017.

This great event hosted by the Swedish Minister for Infrastructure Anna Johansson will explore how we can accelerate action to halve road deaths and injuries by 2020 to meet the UN targets – and then make further progress to deliver Vision Zero. iRAP CEO Rob McInerney will be presenting at the event along with other global experts on road safety. The Australasian Road Safety Conference is taking place between 10-12 October 2017 in Perth, Australia.

This year’s theme is “Expanding our horizons” and will be a great showcase for the work of practitioners, policy makers, researchers and industry leaders. The conference will have a special focus on engaging all levels of government and community to move Towards Zero and iRAP, AusRAP, Austroads, AAA and ARRB will be involved in key symposiums detailing the success of risk assessments across Australia. The IRF World Road Meeting ) will be held in Delhi, India from 14-17 November, 2017 and registration is open. The event is supported by iRAP and will showcase global action across the whole road industry. With safer road design key to halving road deaths and injuries by 2020 the programme will incorporate key global innovation and action on road safety from products, design, policy and implementation to the success of 3-star or better roads around the world.
